Marcia Czar has been a dedicated member of the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild since 1992. She first discovered her love of beading through a class offered by Adult Education, and since then has refined her skills with the help of many talented teachers, including Sherry Serafini and Betty Stephan. She has participated in a number of the guild's sponsored projects, including the component challenge, beaded quilt, and bead bug challenge.

As the Beader Reader Newsletter Chair, Marcia is responsible for the guild's newsletter, which provides members with valuable information about upcoming events, project ideas, and member profiles. She has also enjoyed taking classes and attending the guild's Bead Bonanza events over the years, where she has been inspired by the creativity and talent of her fellow beaders.

In addition to beading, Marcia enjoys gardening, board games, and garage sales. She is the founder of her own jewelry business, Ice Queen Designs, which she started in 2000. Marcia loves creating unique pieces of jewelry and seeing people wear her designs. She has even been featured in four different newspapers for her work. Another fun fact about Marcia is that she holds an Orange belt in Tai Kwan Do Karate.

For current and future members of the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild, Marcia encourages everyone to keep beading and have fun. She believes that there are no limits when it comes to color and design, and that if you can dream it, you can bead it.
