I am inviting everyone to join me in the Peace Ring Project – GRANDE

CONNECTION.

I am attaching the flyers that explain all the details of the project and the Peace

Ring pattern. I have agreed to be our contact person for the project. The

requirements have changed a little. The rings do not have to be the Peace ring

pattern, but it would be nice if they were. It’s a nice quick brick stitch pattern. It

can be as simple as just stringing, but please look at the requirements if you

choose that option. The beads do not have to be TOHO. Use your bead soup or

other stash. I would like all your contributions turned in by the June meeting.

Maybe you would like to get your friends involved passing the chain around so

everyone can add to it. I will collect them throughout the year not just at the end.

The goal of the project is a mile; I would be ecstatic if we could get a city block to

send to them.

I know we are all busy with projects and life in general; take a break occasionally,

zip up a Peace Ring and have fun joining me in this fun project. Looking forward

to seeing what you do.
