About the Event
Kinga Bledsoe Workshop | Thursday, October 1st, 2026
Party Animal
This is an all day long, fun and lighthearted class during which you will make a one-eyed, two horned, glitter toothed monster that you can wear around your neck and if you feel extra spicy, you can light up with the aid of the small LED light in your kit. The monster has a primordial pouch and that is where the light gets stashed. This class is suitable for intermediate to advanced beaders. If you have done bead weaving but no bead embroidery before, you will be fine. Kits $125
Classes will meet at Finnish Cultural Center at 35200 W 8 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, 48335. Classes meet from 9 am to 4 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Please note this is a 3 day event with additional workshops being available on Friday and Saturday as well.

Class fees are $80 per day. Guild members are discounted to $40 per day. Class sizes are limited and filled with on a first-come, first-served basis by postmark date. All registrations are by mail only. Registration/checks received with postmarks earlier than May 26 will be returned. If necessary, a lottery will be held for available spaces with each day’s postmark. Checks will be returned if the class has been filled. Classes are for ages 18 and over.
