Becky Menger is a valued member of the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild and currently serves as the Webmaster on the Board. She has been beading on and off since her 20s and was inspired to start beading after taking a community education class. Throughout her beading journey, Becky has received help and guidance from several mentors, including Gail Foster and Jan Peck, who introduced her to wire working and beading.

Becky has been a member of the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild for about four years and enjoys spending time with fellow beaders, discussing the craft, attending classes, and participating in make-and-take projects. Outside of beading, she has other hobbies and interests, including fountain pens, bicycling, and gardening. A surprising fact about Becky is that she loves sushi.

Being part of the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild has impacted Becky's life in a positive way by giving her access to mentors and teachers she may not have found otherwise. She encourages current and future members to bring their bead-curious friends along to the meetings and events, as the Guild wants to welcome more people into their community of beaders.
